During a website visit ‘cookies’ can be installed on the hard drive of your computer. A cookie is a text file that is placed in the browser, of your desktop or mobile device, by the server of a website. Cookies can’t be used to identify people, only machines.
Coachplus only uses ‘First Party cookies’ as well as ‘Third Party Cookies’.
‘First party cookies’ are technical cookies that are being used by the visited site and are intended to make the site work optimal.I.e. settings that the user has installed during a previous visit or a prefilled form with data that the user has entered during previous visits.
‘Third Party Cookies’ are cookies not coming from the website, but from third parties (a marketing or advertising plug - for example cookies from Facebook or Google Analytics). For such cookies the visitor of a site should give permission - done by a banner on the top or bottom a website, with reference to this policy, to browse the website further.
You can set your browser this way that cookies aren’t being accepted or that you receive a warning whenever a cookies is installed. It’s also possible to automatically remove cookies from your hard drive afterwards. This can be done via the browser settings (help function). Please keep in mind that certain graphical elements won’t be visualized correctly or that particular applications will not work.
